After HS I served in the USMC for 4 years spending 2 in VN. When I got out I joined the Tucson Police Department and served in many functions to include Tactical Operations, Helicopter Pilot, Uniform Patrol and Criminal Intell Officer. In 1988 I took a position at the Arizona Law Enforcement Officers Advisory Council, now known as AZ POST as a Instructor Training Manager. In 1993 I retired from the Police Department and opened a consulting company called North American Trainers Association ( the thought process was that I would have more free time if I owned my own business -WRONG!) In 1998 I was contacted by the United Nations to serve as Deputy Chief of Operations for the UN Mission in Bonsia (UNMIBH) where I served for 2 years. I then was moved to Kosovo where I srved as Deputy Regional Commander in Mitrovica for a year and a half. Once I completed those missions I became a private contractor for the US Department of Justice, ICITAP to do international consulting where I took positions in Nigeria ( 1 year), Pakistain (5 Years) and Indonesia (5 years). While in Indonesia I met my wife who is a Indonesian National and have been married for the past 5 years. I am currently retired and enjoying the good life here in Jakarta Indonesia.
There have been ups and downs in my life but all in all, life has been good to me. It is sad to read about our fellow classmates who have passed, I know each of them are in a better place.
