Sylvia was born March 9, 1946, in Tucson, AZ. She was a proud alumni of Tucson High School, class of 1964. She was devoted to her kids, grandkids, granddogs, grandhorses and to everyone that knew her. Her smile and voice lit up any room she entered. She has been described as the matriarch of the family, her home was the gathering point that brought friends, soccer sons, cousins, tia’s, tio’s , nephews, nieces, godchildren together. No matter what, everyone was family and everyone was fed her delicious food when you entered her home.

She will be remembered as a loving wife, daughter, sister, nina, tia, comadre, cousin, friend, neighbor, co-worker, soccer mom….her biggest achievements called her grandma and mom. Family and friends will cherish her strength, love, and unselfishness. The day came that we could no longer be together, we’ll keep her in our hearts. She’ll stay there forever.

Sylvia was my friend for 62 years.  Bebo and Sylvia were my daughter's God parents. We went together to 4 of our class reunions.  We always had so much fun, lots of laughs, we all loved to dance.  Sylvia was a wonderful, kind hearted, very giving, great cook, she loved making special food for her family and friends.  Sylvia will be missed by all who knew her.  Rest in peace my friend.
