I knew Andy since 5th grade so never could make the switch to calling him Michael.  When I talked to him about the Reunion I asked about the name confusion.  He said his mother called him one name, his father called him the other name and "It all pretty much went to hell from there."

Andy had a lot of questions about the "girls" from our class...particularly which ones were single!  I told him he'd have to come to the Reunion and find out, which he was definitely planning to do. Mainly, he was just so enthused about seeing the huge number from our class  that he remembered...he asked me about everyone.

I was looking forward to seeing him again. He will be missed.

Shocked and sad to read about Andy. He was a good friend in high school that I lost contact with after our senior year. RIP old friend.

Andy and I knew each other before the first grade. Our grandmothers were long time friends and us kids spent a lot of time in his parent's pool. The last time I saw Andy was several years ago when I took him and his wife flying over Tucson. I guess it is a sign of the times when we loose friends and class mates but it still hurts.

What a shock this is to read about Andy. I was looking forward to chatting and laughing with Andy again at the reunion. Even though I haven't seen Andy in many, many years, anytime we got together it was a great time.

Rest in peace my friend.

I was so very sorry to hear about Andy's passing. I had a crush on him in the sixth gd., along with Ron Bogard, & Andy invited me over to go swimming one day. He showed me all the model airplanes he had made out of wood & I had a great time! He will be missed by many I'm sure....RIP Andy. <3  Connie Hooper (Craney)

Tucson High used the cross block extensively in it's football schemes. Andy was a guard and I was a tackle. We worked as a team to develope the precise timing needed to carry out our blocking assignments. I last saw Andy at a NEA teachers conference in Flagstaff many years ago. My prayers to the family. Andy was a great teammate. I am sorry he will not be at the reunion. RIP Andy
