Ernest died January 27, 2003 in Tucson, Arizona. He was married to Mary Ann Kille THS'64.

Ernest and I dated early on in high school....I really enjoyed our times together and he was always fun to be around. He is currently listed as an unsolved murder - I remember reading he was killed on Superbowl Sunday after sleeping out in his motorhome on the northside of town outside a Sam's. It is a disturbing story, and I hope they find out whoever did it....Rest in peace, my friend.
