In Memory

Emily A. Boas (Fox)

Emily A. Boas (Fox)

Died 09/24/2011 after a seven year battle with breast cancer.  She left behind her husband of 42 years, Gary;  2 daughters and 1 son; 5 grandchildren; and her sister, Pam.

She was an employee of Sahuarita Unified School District for 21 years.

She was a season ticket holder for UA football games, easily recognizable by her UA baseball cap with a big red bow on the back, and also loved to watch the Diamondbacks.

Proud of her family's ranching background, she loved her life at McGee Ranch surrounded by her children and grandchildren.  Her smile, her laughter and irreverent sense of humor will be sorely missed.

She is buried at McGee Ranch Cemetary.

Emily lived just up the street from me.  We did lots of crazy things together and had lots of fun.  She will be missed.

We have been good friends since the day I met her as a Freshman until the day she died.  I spoke to her often and visited the Ranch when I was in town.  Emily was the very essence of a friend, a dear kind hearted women with lots of spunk and laughter.  She will be missed.
