George Hill was a football player and ran Track all four years at Tucson High. He also wrestled in his sophomore year.  He was a Letterman.

After high school George enlisted in the Army and served in Vietnam.  After three years in the Army he returned to Tucson, went to barber college, and ended up working in the mine.  He died in an accident at the mine when he was twenty-two years old.
