What can I say about Clyde ... he was very special to me because he was my first dance partner. When I first started at John Spring he tried so very hard to teach me to dance.  But despite his most diligent efforts, and contrary to popular myth. NOT all black people have rhythm (I remain living proof of that fallacy) but it was not for lack of Clyde's trying!!! During Senior year I kept a scrap book and the pages for football season are filled with all the stories and pictures of the team's efforts, expecially Clyde's touchdowns and athletic honors. He was a sweetheart!

Wherever he is now, I hope there is someone there showing him the steps that will lead him towards that ultimate goalpost. Be at peace!, my old friend ... aloma j. barnes

My deepest condolences go out to Doris and the family.  Clyde has been a great friend ever since my freshman year of high school. He was an amazing athlete and an awesome guy. He always had a kind word to say when we passed in the hallway, at the football games, or were at the same parties. Very fond memories will always stay with me when I think of Clyde "Kobe" Williams. He is no longer suffering and the heavens are rejoicing to have his presence there.
