So sorry to hear the Booty died.  We ran in the same circles at times.  I remember he was always the dancing guy.  My prayers go out to his family.

We will never forget Bootsy was the life of the party.  He was a caring and joyful person.  May you rest in peace.

Johnny was a very good friend. We grew up in the same "Barrio" and shared many wonderful experiences. The Santa Cruz River was our backyard and we spent a lot of time chasing and gathering critters along the banks."Bootsie" loved music and was a wonderful dancer.I referred to him as the "Fred Astaire'  of our early years.I was gone from Tucson for many years and later renewed our friendship upon my return. Most recently we were afflicted by a common malady that ended his life.He and his wife, Dolores, were very supportive while I recovered. We kept in close contact until his last days.I will forever be grateful to Bootsie and Dolores for their love and support. He will always be a part of my life.Rest in peace my good friend !!
