Gilbert was remembered by his family, including two daughters, brothers and sisters, five beautiful grandchildren, friends and family. He devoted his life to helping others in his home in New York City. Sharon Mariotte (Carman)
Mr. Blubaugh, wrestling coach, was a huge fan of Gilbert's. I remember him telling me about Gilbert and what an amazing young man he was. This was in 1963. RIP Gilbert.

I looked at Gilbert's profile here on our web page, and saw that he was in touch with several classmates since the reunion. All had fond memories of growing up with Gilbert and watching him do well in high school and in life after. His daughters were talented and successful.
